Its population can contest the president & more importantly his Party- not necessarily for becoming president ones self; much as it is anywhere, unless you have money and the backing of big business you or I cannot hope to be president or as audacious as a 'hope for change' like americas 44th president. Money speaks for democracy in this wonderful system of capitalism which bears the seal of Democracy and good governance. If pro-American or America funded political opponents make noise on the streets of Iran, it don’t mean Iran is anti-Democratic- it just means America’s devil machine is at work again. No government is honest beyond national interests, and this self-righteousness they bellow from their political schools of indoctrination is foul beyond measure. What makes America, its government, white civilization (don’t get me started on racism in the western hemisphere- the vernacular is now less colored, but a tribunal commentary exposing this psychology and how blind we in the east are to it is easy)- what makes us think that they are so incapable of fault, corruption, hypocrisy? The result being a more equitable middle class i.e. as productive as it is wealthy (and without immigrants). In contrast India will never rise as such- it is being given the right of noise because China is looming very large in the western horizon. There is no more a united India (long essay), than a united Africa; Indians have already 'arose' in the west.

Simply put if America is a super-power which must have 'rights & national interests' then those must be of  a denizen which is non-idiosyncratic & keeping with the needs of the occupied whole, else it becomes a bi-partisan hegemony- where one nation gets its way by bullying an inferior globe. Such a formulae is doomed to fail eventually. In short america has no rights or "national interests" which it 'must' pursue or rape if that exceeds our interests, us being its democracies.

So spirituality and the thirst to connect with mind & body is no less divine than the scientific endeavor of the universe (which is us) to understand itself. When Dawkins speaks or when karen Armstrong speaks, against or for religion, neither is separate or disconnected physically or metaphysically (?quantum) from the universe he or she occupies. The speech or action (volition) of man is no less no more remarkable, no less or no more incidental than a star being born or a leaf falling. The dominion of being, man & universe each cocooned inside one another, far exceeds bandwidth, bounty & processing power than that minuscule air pocket or ego which is always in haste to declare it came to be on its own and without causality. The universe is far more conscious than we are, and it already was before we came into the picture.

If there are holy books or if there are aliens, there is no danger in such a notion beyond that man is violent and engineered to excavate, tear and turn upside down the little bubble it occupies. The war that a God wages on Man is the same war Man wages on God, where God maybe Man, the universe or the torrents of thoughts that confound his species endlessly.

So if there was a design in evolution which geared bipedal apes to stand erect and start talking to each other (this is when the universe first started ‘talking to Itself’ at such a frequency), for it could not have happened any other way except that which allowed those organs to function at maximum potential or live long enough to be of some use to the universe (organ here referred maybe the organic life forms themselves, inanimate matter, even stars or planets etc) before being assimilated or reduced into that universe- then that design had intent and purpose in that Man will continue to be, in whichever form or shape, as we have now emerged as the vocal atoms in the rocky universe without (within being quantum, multidimensionality, fabric of time, space and energy etc).

The fact that we exist implies it couldn't have been any other way, in so far as that there cannot be an improbability or random that could be calculated without taking into account the fact that we already exist. That is, there cannot be contemplated a universe in which we did not exist or come to exist, because we do exist. Therefore we cannot say without considering this fact, that there could have been an eventuality in which humans did not emerge from that first primordial broth.

It is safe to say, there was design in so far as the design was for us to realize we exist! Since we exist, yes there was that design. The term god is incomplete, but the fact that we keep saying it is far from insignificant- we are the binary digits of an unknown universe that is and was quite conceivably aware at a level we cannot fathom, and which made up the ingredients from which we are formed. The 'hollow icy dead universe' model has now been replaced by a foreboding quantum aware multidimensional organum, and if we seem to keep fixating on a ‘godsense’ or more importantly wanting to be in denial of anything except our own pockets & earphones (us rejecting the universe that is our womb) that is perhaps the universes way of birthing consciousness in us (negative positive schism).  

Although mathematical theorization inches along such inner reflections into the universe, the human mind & soul since antiquity has been edging on that chasm and is a reflection of the urge the species as a whole seems to have to recognize not really its place in the universe (it does not find this to be remarkable) rather her (universe) place in 'our universe'.  Such a flaccid communiqué of this understanding is a 'reflection' that it is aware of just that, its own awareness; this awareness is comparable to the organic molecular communication a fetus and mother may have which we have not yet discerned. The astrophysicists claim is therefore no less ancient than Socrates pondering the same thing without a calculator, or the gibberish that a Hindu sage may scribble out of thin air. The energy involved is essentially the same.

And as human beings are the child of a physical world in which it is prisoner, there is no place thus yet, to say what holds outside of whatever maybe this inside.

Neither religion nor science addresses the different thing 'samely or the same thing differently; while science relatively objectively tries to demonstrate how matter interacts, religion begs the logic behind that overall confusion or fusion, and relays the senselessness or sensation of those bonds as the collective human mind perceives it. While a theoretical physicist might confess his inability to explain what preceded a big bang, an esoteric pundit will try to capture the emotion attached to that inability. The basic essence of his capture ('photograph') would be as colorful as a full-spectrum false color photograph of a distant nebula- it can only be so accurate, but hardly a “Theory of everything” (there are lotta assumptions built into theoretical science).

Science is a mere measurement of Man's immediate vicinity (a billion light-years away 'photograph' is also just a vicinity) and that sense of a god, and even the desire to shun it, is perhaps an underlith knowing than runs in the fabric of our being- the universe inside of man, his viscera, is no different in quarks or atoms than the universe outside which is also of the same matter-antimatter- as if a continuum from man to Beast-beast to Man, this beast being the 'silent' universe, Man being the awareness we think fully we are. Because even though we may debate about the existence of God or not, denial or in belief, we are nonetheless talking about it, and that may be significant. 

The sophisticated nature of present technologies does not give credence to the argument against god, but much to the astoundingly limitless potential of the human 'brain' (and therefore the universe) which resonates with the subatomic world outside. Much of science often works even when many assumptions or ‘unknown variables’ are built into it. Laser-disc players work yes, but do we know the exact nature of the electro-magnetic spectrum (which is once again a widely tested, demonstrable and workable, but nonetheless Theory) and for that matter, did we come up with the design for the EM-spectrum? So science is awesome undoubtedly, but from that to saying god is a figment of the human imagination- that’s too many light years of the feeble human 'mind' in too few a decades. The issue where denial of god factors into the human equation is, not so much the simple act of disbelief let’s say, but where ego, human society and animal husbandry (Man being an animal) comes into the picture.

Even a simple notion as an abstract thought is, to paraphrase, divine; when we ‘think’ something inside our heads, even without vocalizing it, it is registered not only in plastic memory-neurons, but the information continues to resonate deep into the molecular, sub-molecular, atomic and subatomic level. Therefore the simple act of thinking something ‘out of the blue’ or an abstract thought (even the eureka’s) is a sub-atomic resonance that originates de’novo and from there on creates possibly a cascading effect. When we think a ‘thought’ we often assume it’s just an ‘empty’ thought or thing in our heads or in space. Perhaps that is not the case. Surely it must register somewhere in the physical world.

Keep in mind "entropy" and that “energy cannot be created or destroyed”, it has to go somewhere and it has to come from somewhere. Also, de'novo thought is against "entropy" and thought has to come from somewhere, to begin with. One has to imagine and then realize, that when we 'think' to do something or even think emptiness or in abstraction, it comes from somewhere- the implications of this, do not escape me. There may not be such a thing as free-will. So human thought, words and volition should be of much interest. Really credit goes to whoever holds the patent on the human brain.

Science cannot prove that God doesn't exist because the universe is essentially us, and to put it mildly, he isn't inside the universe. Here's the puzzle, it is like looking into a mirror and seeing our image, But in this case we are the reflection or image and the actual object is the universe (or the prime complex 'object'), To put it in even simpler terms, 'imagine' for the purpose of understanding this model, that when 'you' look into that mirror you see the 'universe', only you are the image in the mirror in this case (transposition), while it is actually the universe which is in essence looking into the mirror thus forming you-the image - i.e. the image which forms on the mirror is us, while the actual object is the universe, the mirror being our senses.

It can be said that the universe maybe the image in this paradox, while the actual object is us, but this is excluded when we simply realize the universe was there before us. Thus we are the image the universe casts, and how we know this is because of the mirror (our senses). The question also begs how reliable our mirror is. Since we came only after and through the universe, we may know only what the mirror shows us. As is obvious we are finite and less perfect than the infinite and therefore the more perfect universe. Also worth noting is that if the universe were to look at us through our mirror and saw us, it would see a mirror image or an upside-down or reversed version of us, therefore maybe it is more accurate to say the universe is the upside-down version of us, or something of that sorts. Obviously there is distortion in this hypothetical mirror as well, much as light disperses when it passes through a prism.

Now imagine this, the reflection (humans) has become aware of itself, but so fetal is this awareness that we were inclined to think we are separate distinct 'organic' 'life' forms that an inhospitable unaware lifeless 'altogether' physical rock & gaseous universe evolved by accident or as a chance event. The question of who Man is, thus arises from this awareness we have become.
Added to all that, here is the real ball buster- Even then it would still have to be, it must be, a continuum (as light from object falling on mirror to form image- this image or reflection then becoming aware), however ill-defined by this mirror: it would still be from the complex object to the simple image that is us. We can outsmart or ‘outmove’ the universe, if we can, only after it 'moves' or anticipates us moving; in effect we can 'move' only when it 'moves', because after all we are the mirror-image and/or the reflection and it the real object. So when we 'move' in effect, it is because the universe moved (or made us move).
  
This complex dilemma poses many questions and answers, and it can even be said that nothing said or done or happening is irrelevant, incidental or coincidental, but that each is a reflection of a wider objective reality that we may only be able to comprehend through the faculty of a very primitive mirror. Also it is more accurate to say that we the human or ‘us’ or ‘image’ really implies the human mind in this example. We being that which is locked inside the human mind- constantly pondering, wondering and trying to contemplate and possibly comprehend our inescapable reality.

The universe is thus also, probably aware at a divine level (appropriate term for the level at which a fully aware multidimensional universe functions) and the speed (imagine light-years) of its computations cannot be exceeded by us (image) except at such a theoretical point where ‘we’ become at one with the universe- our return to gaia perhaps. Such a singularity may not be impossible after all; perhaps then that which preceded the universe had comprehended that the human would eventually result, perhaps this comprehension at that point included us (where the object-image synthesis is precise to the point the mirror we speak of at this level is nonexistent). Curiously one wonders what also might happen if the 'object universe' touches the 'image Man' through his ‘mirror’?  The image human touching his primitive mirror and becoming conscient with the far more complex object point of reference (universe) is less likely. Maybe both are equally true, or one is truer than the other (This is a hypothetical model of course but much of theoretical science brushes along similar lines, and literature is available on it).

To put it mildly, one might even say our 'logic' is the debris or star dust the universe seeds as it operates at dimensions we are not yet equipped to conceive let alone comprehend. But perhaps us realizing that our actions are in sync with the outer physical reality (dimensionality) should be the starting point, instead of thinking we are alone in the universe, and our place is that we have come to be by chance and our physical thoughts and actions do not constitute registrable echoes within the known and unknown perplexity of being, when in fact it may.

Indeed the expanse of our knowing is limited by our very existence within the confines of this physical reality. One also wonders how long before we (the simple image formed by the object universe) come up with a new type of mathematics or computation (quantum computers etc) that could accessorize our mirror in understanding the first complex (object) or the universe. If so would that be by accident?  Remember where every chance event is a reflection of a wider objective reality which we are perhaps incapable of fully comprehending.

If today an equation can hope to explain (to an extent.) and prove how a star should form within the vicinity of delta-omega and not alpha-beta, much less why, and within the confines of which parameters: or simply why a leaf falls to the earth instead of space, then I say there must be an equation or laws which explain, prove and is able to predict why I’m writing this essay for instance, and before I even think to write it that it is inevitable I would write it: and why that particular leaf & why during that time of the day. Thus just as natural epochs & phenomena are defined by physical laws or 'fixed behaviors of matter', it is fair to say the movements, thoughts and deeds of humans, anima and even the inanimate can be explained, proven and predicted as 'fixed'.

Or it may be that we are ‘irrational particles’ or elements in a clearly rational, albeit haphazard on the surface, universe- where everything else, matter and energy, behave in a predictable way while thought and volition occupies a dominion which is not subject to its universe. Of course a rational world cannot accommodate such an irrational paradox, and must be explained. When a tree grows, or a child is born, or an insect burrows into stale wood, or a star is born billions of light years away- all of it is governed by predictable replicable sets of laws, while on the outside it appears as gross and unremarkable. 


The question is when a man speaks or writes, while his behavior is defined by those very laws or relativity, is it fair to say what he thinks, says, writes or even does is governed by an indiscernible rationality or set of laws ('fixed states of matter'), that is at the sometime in sync with the apparent irrationality of his or her outward manifestation. If we were programmed into behaving in a particular way it would be impossible to know, except that we are ‘thinking’. Maybe that’s the first clue. Remember how even a mere abstract thought maybe registered by the physical universe, and how thought might actually be de'novo and vice versa. 

It appears irrational, mindless, chaotic and random, just as is the explosion of a supernova. But if the universe is governed by laws that predict and define its motion and behavior so must our thoughts and actions just as again our physiology is. Thus an interconnectedness of universal and possibly quantum proportions become evident as unapparent on the surface.

The idea that our behavior and possibly the course of human history has been left free to operate outside of any laws of physics or matter, that we maybe somehow distinct and separate from all else including our physiology, all of which is restricted by its own set of ‘particle commandments’ (me being sarcastic) such that our thoughts and resulting actions are random events that have not been predicted or predetermined by similar sets of measurable (perhaps immeasurable) laws is far-fetched. On the contrary the logic of science would dictate that to be not the case. Of course a ‘Titan Theory of everything’ which strung’ a knowable super universe to dry may have made such measurements rather more difficult than conventional modalities of scientific inquiry. Maybe why Einstein once commented that a dictum of quantum physics is that it is impossible to grasp.

Perhaps then it would be more accurate to say all of this, this all, everything, is not just an empty space with few billion humans resigned to just live and let live. Philosophically that’s just hilarious, it always has been, and theoretical science today has started to address such paradoxes. Finally.

There may really be no such thing then as random or chance, clearly as seen by the fact that 'laws of nature' restrict how matter may behave! Therefore can it not be that the non-physical absolute was also for matter to exist rather than not exist? For humans to exist than to not exist? Is that not design? Do we allow 'chance' for physical laws? Can an electron attract an electron? Such randomness is workable at the human level but far from rational; much as Newton's Laws only apply at speeds under that of light. Beyond that its ‘oops’.

Chance or random is perhaps applicable below the stratosphere, so to speak, to allow for some sense of 'normalcy' in our everyday lives, i.e. to imagine that our chaos down here on earth is separate from every other physical and 'left' to our whims.  If it has been 'left' to be so, then let sarcasm say there is a writable equation(s) or laws for that as well.

The very difficult question then also arises, how do we know we are not programmed to behave in a set particular (particle'ular) way, just as we physically function so in a particular way? All outcomes within that bubble would then be differential or residual, the outcome of interactions ('infighting' then takes on a whole nother meaning).

We may try and study the object universe, which cast us as if an image in a mirror (our senses that let us know we exist), but where did the complex object, the simple image or the proverbial mirror come from to begin with? The question can also be asked whether it is correct to refer to the complex object we see in our mirror as the universe, or is it more correct to say the universe is the mirror which is trying to show us the real object? (us being 'the image that is now aware). Then it becomes very complex, what then is the real object? The real Pandora’s Box.

There are two important points I'm trying to make (which probably escapes most readers), one is that de'novo thought (including intent) is against "entropy" and is unexplained, two the mirror-image-object paradox indicates how volition, including our thoughts maybe following an organismic pathway that is therefore predetermined. This may be no more inconsequential or random than say, the movement of ions across voltage-gated channels- there is a gradient for it and is thus inevitable. Thus free-will and intent is out of the picture. When an apple falls from a tree or an egg hatches, there is no more free will in this than us talking about it. Scientific logic alone dictates this.

Trying to show we exist is more important than trying to show we don't exist. The fact that we exist rules out the chance we may not have existed. Could we not have existed? This is oxymoronic to ask and theorize from there, when we have come to exist! We do exist, the question should therefore be not ‘could it be chance and therefore there is no need for us to exist but anyway we do’, rather it should be why do we exist? And if so where is our exit.

The human brain is the most complex ‘thing’ in the universe it is said, but having said this we have also established the relative ignorance of the human ‘mind’ which assumed the physical world or universe which we ironically define separate from us being as an empty infinite vacuum filled with gases, ice and rocks. It is perhaps 'stupid' to 'think' the universe is just that. We chose to see in the naked mirror an emperor, not a naked geezer.

The idea that a dead rocky lifeless universe (at mirror-length) resulted in a complex organic neural network i.e. aware (Man), can in that case also assume the final stay ('our minds return to gaia') of this awareness (Man) is at an infinite point in time that would be able to have already comprehended omnipotently within its physical quantum dominion (a perfect synthesis of the object and image without any need for a mirror or what could be said to be a singularity), what and how happened the initial conditions at the pre-dawn of time, space & being, and even why, and therefore would have even been 'aware' or 'present' when it all started also. This assumes the past, present and future is like us seeing a movie on reels or frames (a reality in which, when I stop writing, I would forever still be writing in the past). For if all is a continuum or circle that started, the finish would also have been completed at the point it started! A singularity (big bang) that is both beginning and end.

Many scientists professing pure arrogance based on a few decades of crude mathematics, are merely abjecting an age old animosity to 'religion', in particular Christianity, attacks being more directed against orthodox religious traditions which obligate strict belief or disbelief in this or that as prerequisites for salvation etc (Islam hardly factors in western encounters with theology, except where ‘terrorism’ matters). The idea of intelligence permeating physical totalitarianism is different from Christian or Religions traditional 'creationist' views which tend to literally describe the steps of 'creation' in non-mathematical prose. Such literal interpretations over thousands of years, and its accompanied counter-appraisals which attack genesis literature & the 'failure' of religions to provide pictures of god have come to be the contemporized case against god.

The inherently violent nature of Physical Morphology is also taken as proof we are alone and we came to be on our own without design or intelligence (sure we are intelligent but what preceded us apparently wasn’t). If the human body can be taken as the parable of the universe, we see how gory, odiferous, lifeless and pained its viscera is- with its slimy cephalopod internal organs, its repugnant fluids, bloodied vessels, fetid bone and sinew. And yet it is intelligent- benevolently and malevolently. Such is perhaps the example of the universe as well.

Our violent nature, the unmerciless tide of disease and calamity, really the very frugality and fleeting nature of time and matter is seen as critical of a 'God which made it all possible'- hardly deserving of praise. This reality, this set of particulars, this physical relativism of our state however cannot deny the physical and metaphysical (quantum) absolutism of those very parameters.

'We may not like it', but the sad fact of the matter is that this vulgar, frugal, atrocious, écœurant sense of being, this 'circumstantial' physical reality is unchangeable, inescapable. The Laws of nature cannot be unwritten, these 'fixed states of matter' are there whether we believe it or not, whether we can see it or not, whether we can prove it or not. None of this changes the fact that we exist, and we do so confined. We are prisoners' of our own state, and our denial does not change this. Our trajectory will thus always be differential or residual, it would always be the outcome of interactions and these interactions will always be within the chained confines of our physical reality. We may not believe it, but we sure cannot escape it.

Of course if we are semi-aware particulates 'in' an aware multi-dimensionality (universe) that is the program of fixed states of matter, we are more than subject to its whims, rather than the opposite! Those very 'interactions' that we may have, may have been programmed into the very construct or fabric of the universe. Fate might just be the operating cost of our batteries. Destiny may not be easy to digest, but might not be farfetched after all.

If nature is cruel, so must it mean god cannot exist?  From this line of argumentation has sprung forth volumes of books making the case for a raw universe without a cook. I find it exceedingly retarded. If we do not have the stomach to swallow reality as it is, eat-or-be-eaten, can this mean those laws of nature (or fixed states of matter) are not real. Scientific theorists, who are now slowly treading into the world of quantum physics, multidimensionality, and the areas of Conscious Processing Super-strung Multi-universes, are slowly nudging away from the old school calculations of the universe being just a dead rocky, icy lifeless gaseous form-force.  As is clear, the debate over ID versus Creationist views is far and removed from this neo-age scientific reasoning. All discussions however, are essentially hovering over the same 'thing' it would have to be said. 
So we might not be the masters of the universe after all, it may be the universe is the keeper and we it's new fledgling piglets. We with our erections might think to 'outmove' it, but it maybe that we think to outmove only after she moves (remember the mirror-image-object paradox).

If nature is cruel, so must it mean god cannot exist? We are cruel, so do we exist. There is an inherent duality in nature, both beauty and obesity, pain and pleasure (then there's of course pleasure-seeking-behavior) and the cruelty of Man is perhaps only outdone by the cruelty of God himself.True.This does not however change the status quo.

The underlying notion holds true that nothing is chance. Disbelief in chance is also not the same as disbelief in a Created. Esoteric quests for inner sense, contemplation and philosophical ponderings or even established schologies that address the yearning for purpose is not discredited or undone just because 'the scientist' has come up with a few calculations that enable the harnessing and modulation of existing physical totalities. It is very much conceivable that present mathematics is insufficient to come up with reasonable explanations to our existence, even though we have hurriedly resigned to a cult like reverence for such a finite collection of equations.

Disbelief is as important as belief, as far as understanding and visualizing the undercurrents of human psyche, and why it may be so. Humans are a scourge because we are the distilled function of the physical world that produces us. Our quest for greater understanding of the nature of our very being, and this apparent cesspool into which we spawn, and the indomitably redundant nature of the human cycle, is hampered by our never-ending battle with our own rage, our sense of superior belonging (rightfully special brats) and our heritage. A cruel universe breeds a cruel offspring. And it is not so much intellect, but reason that must prevail for there to be light. If not, by 2010 with all the advances in technology and human quotient, half its population at least would have been lifted from poverty. Instead intelligence bears the seal of insolence.

A Spiritual Naturalistic (Islamic) society or even ‘God Fearing’ non-biblical peoples, and especially a Disciplined Youth is not a bad thing whichever maybe the order-

Religion in such a context should become the negative issue when esoteric endeavors intended to appease the divine amount to purely ritual rhapsodies of the mind (that hinge on the precise computation of Sharia Literature or even Scripture), thus divesting precious national and societal dialogue into mere abstruse reflections of an hereafter only. Such a neuroxic expenditure in itself is never in keeping with an Holistic Islamic Attitude that should encourage exploration of enterprise and the pursuit of collective social well-being, while the balance of egoisms devotion to a limited understanding of Faith & immaterial construction should weigh in with material human plight.

On the other hand, the antithesis of this creed, an apathetic feral youth resigned to Illiteracy & immoral consanguinity cannot be tolerated either. Middle Earth should then be somewhere in between Discipline, Order & a Holistic practice of faith.

Anything that exceeds these bounds should be considered the dual malformations of a diseased social psyche. Be it parasitic masses of youth lost to delinquency, intoxicants, criminality, temporized sociopathy and most importantly Illiteracy, Or it's anathema- extreme delegation to Ritual Religion devoid of humanities and Societal vitality. Such a dual paradox of Hobo's & Goats should then be considered against National interests and its greater security.

While a contemporary Islamic Belief System or the Moslem Faith fluxes around the Religion of Sharia, Scripture philosophy, Hadhith Literature, Arab-Islamism, Non-arab Islamic culturalism and the Political, Social & Economic prodigal philosophies it’s Scripture derived doctrines have claimed for it- the Clerical Order of antiquity which merely postulated the sets of Sharia law have been rendered sacred & indivisible as divine. Such a monologues soliloquies understanding of a Singular Sharia replacing any discourse on Scripture Philosophy, then centered around derivative rituals is diametrically incongruent with the Social responsibilities & Omnipotence that an Islamic Faith or Dean’ claims.

The Maldives is one of the most impoverished countries on earth even though it's beaches & coral reefs are blessed divine. Do we desire unadulterated freedoms or do we wish to Develop? Foremost only a developed 'society' can hope to emerge as a developed 'nation'. The concoction of mere Freedoms as the active-ingredient in Democratic Ideals is intended to anglicize cultures if its outcome remains more freer (while not necessarily democratic) and yet underdeveloped nation States.

The exigent notion that sexual emancipation must be the precedent to Industrial revolution is contredisant to the violent Socio-economic realities of depressed economies and indeed the developed urbanized systems of culture within which is evident an inherently libidinal lawlessness, criminality, domestic corruption and a simulacrum of socio-pathologies which continue to erode away at the elements of 'cognizant social chaos' or Harmony. The Capital yield of present day Commerce (Economic Globalization in which third world nations buy goods from the first world) and the realities of a biased global economic order, while continuing to accommodate such societies, their Social and Human Development when made devoid of Skilled Immigrant citizenship is vindictive of the proclamations of post-World War suffrage and enlightenment, and therefore undeserving of blind reverence. For instance the present experience of Great Britain & Australia on the prevalence of alcohol consumption and its rhetoric on Urban Health, Crime, Productivity and Cost burdens on government speaks amply for their system of society. We cannot afford to be thus so western.

And If Beer and Sexuality are to be the foundations to ushering in an era of Technology and a Productive Educated Economy, such would be the failure of a people who have not exceeded Ed Excel O'Levels, let alone expanded their own horizon of thought to comprehend how such an industrial revolution may have evolved in the Western Hemisphere- and more importantly what its analysis in the present global experience of political and economic polarization might yield as far as refining or even perfecting these systems of Political Institutions', Democracy, Society, Economy, Judiciary & Law etc, and continuing the intellectual dialogue of Human Society without just succumbing to established parochial ‘modern’ views.

The capacity to inspire and inflame original discourse without fear of being chastised as oriental must be cultivated within our shanty towns and suburbs (clearly delineable within the 3km island of Maale) without feeding a purely western idea of culture, society, values or even democracy to the wayward delinquents that come out of these dysfunctional families. The same illiterate families which also blindly embrace ritual literature as the potent immaterial elixir for the social woes they despair over.

Today's generation of Internet 'educated' oogles infamous as the vox populi (for the disenchanted) are not in pursuit of Ideals, value systems, education or society, rather they represent the disillusioned offspring of a society which never left it's hereditary apathy and now seek a hormonal high- a sex driven contempt for establishment and order, where a relative measure of wealth has sufficed for the absence of basic social apparatuses (The unit of family being most important as is the debilitating effects of Population congestion and over-crowding). They lack any and all legitimacy for dialogue except in the most basest & reachable diatribes. That they are the vulnerable disposables in political and cross-cultural agendas, only adds to the urgency to recuperate this generation while the next incubates.

Thus there should be no less than a feigned tolerance for invocations of the écœurant persona's glorious Right to excessive religion or excessive freedoms outside the framework of qualifiable dialogue. A nation able to achieve such a Differential Discourse (the right to freedom-cum-the right to religion) can perhaps break free from the psyche of fear, hatred, social insecurity and the impoverishment that compounds said freedoms.

All the while the necessity for assimilating western cultures into eastern cultures as a prerequisite fails close inspection. The allure of social apathy for the Dhivehi Nation has since then assumed greater dominance on the altar of personal institute while society crumbles underfoot, thus the order of reciprocal altruism and social Invictus invariably falters and Exclusivist micro-economies have become the diesel that runs the failed experiment of massive democracy for the surrounding impoverished. The Tata's of India and the Gasim's & Koli Manik's of Maldives being democratic diesel for malfunctioned societies still marketably believable as vibrant Democracies or Economies.

These oligarchs (Resort owners and Landlords in our case) ensure the continuity of a semblance of economy for those employed within them. This fiefdom that is the Resort Owners Club is an independent economy within an economy managing to stay afloat amidst major social upheavals and a poorly developed national economy, because the population is still Neanderthal.

Perhaps If all the Chinese and Indian Skilled emigrate to Maldives instead of the massive exodus to the west, we would be as affluent, if not more. What is lacking also is not just democratic institutes but technical & policy know-how.

Good Governance does not require "Politicians" (the potent admixed venom in western proposed models for overpopulated impoverished economies, while they are Constitutional Monarchies & Bipartisan-Open' Democracies), But educated working class administrators, policymakers, economists, technocrats and all the other fruits of government labor which is intended to sustain that government & its people. Also the paradox that the People is the Government cannot be overstated.

`Advanced nations in the west prosper to the greatest degree because their Currency (The British Pound Sterling, The Euro, The Dollar), the very building blocks of Empire, are kept indivisible and our small currencies are pegged to theirs at our expense (this differential transaction translates to Profit for them- the resultant superfluous surplus in Exchange is what drives them, undermines us), and its economies are as a result driven by skilled industry (largely foreign immigrants) thus centralized around educated political elites who retain control of democratic institutes. As such these States remain unaffected as a whole by the scourge of the many social-ills evident within their borders or conflicts external (War-profiteering is also one arm of industrialization). The advancement that is the first world, at the expense of the third world is the best example of 'Insider Trading'- this is the reason it has prospered, by renegading the remaining masses of humanity to languish in extreme poverty and human degradation while it propagates as a civilization. Social malignancies that emanate from the experience of 'Democracy within Slums' will incapacitate infant Social Economies (Nations) like us. We must build our own house in our own way because our circumstances, both in geography, population density and the very many social realities hugely differ, and simply adopting western dossiers on Democracy-etcetera, does little in the way of development and "Industrialization", but much in the way of cultural stigmatization and polarization. As such religious extremism is also directly proportionate to the lawlessness that reeks from such an unstable & polarized society.

And Development alone, if not without Industrialization, is UNDP ‘ration’alization for why we should remain within the realm of poverty.

An egocratic democracy is government given into passion, because such a consensus is in our context no more coherent socially than theocratic or autocratic Eastern models (theocracies in the west can afford to be). Self-proclaimed loyalists organized around Mobs are also by default sellouts as true democratic dialogue must remain impertinently neutral from fixed dogma or partisanship politicks (Party Politics known locally as 'democracy').

This may also be the reason that an educated middle class, surviving mostly abroad as university graduates, remain unengaged in political dialogue. The present status quo is elitist and engineered if it could be said around the guise of ‘democratic ideals’ by business Interests (of note MATI, Adduan lottery in this ‘experiment with democracy’, Maalian landlords), activist dilettantes and loyalists with reservation in prejudiced partisan anti-social agendas. No Political Party or associations, by definition exempts this allegation.

It can however be said that an aura of genuine curiosity for ‘Demokuracy’ exists among local folk. Such a curiosity however is ill-equipped and susceptible to volatile changes in social temperament when reigned in by those in control. While public sentiment is a healthy gauge of vibrant politics, our particular blend is no different from the circus pandemonium that is Indian politics. We however could hardly afford it. No productive political engagement is evident thus.

Elements of socialism must become inherent in the closest approximations of democratic aspirations. Social justice and collective profit in place of mob-rule, and an individual identity that respects & recognizes that society in whose security it prospers.

A Social Spiritual Democracy that recognizes the right to faith and unit freedom, in-place for recognizing the critical balance on which freedom of faith and faith of freedom rests is necessary in our context. While the west seems content with visigoth amorality and suburban social decay (drugs, alcohol, abortions, adolescent infirmity, Gang violence, domestic violence) we in the East & the Orient (Mozlems, Chinks, Brown Asians) have been dealt to reconcile cultural religion with 'modernization' at an impasse where the minority of the planet holds the majorities wealth, and the platform of society strikes at the heart of it.

Perhaps it is genetic that spirituality assumes wealth for us, but it also necessitates the consensus of the populous who see the ideal they wish to envisage modernity in. This would irrespective of the incorporation of religion or spirituality be near unattainable so long as the developed Roman Society in the west (in which Christian fundamentalism also proliferates at an alarming rate) holds the rest hostage on culture, religion & society and at the very precipice of prejudice and defiance. The Huntington response from the weaker East is thus elementary.

The experience of India (minus its colossal brain-drain to the west) is also a monumental declaration of 'Negative Democracy' vs. Culture & Religion- crippled on the very doorsteps of said Freedom Institutes in place for the poor.

Religious Liberators (including extremist dogmatic schools of thought & renegade tuition clerics) that evangelize susceptible illiterate impoverished societies are no different from Sexual liberators save the attire and rhetoric. Neither is peaceful, democratic nor is either speaking from a more rational POV for human co-habitation. Each is a forum which derives conclusions or justification from personal inequities or excesses which are the direct result of the failure of that society in which it flourished. And each seeks not that greater ineffable truth or a sublime human ethos but really a personal individual carnal urge to impose on if disagreed and with confrontation. The weapons either may equip is defined by the circumstances of that society & global weather, and the violence it assumes is no less abhorrent as one claims the other to be. In this regard Religion is both victim and patsy in Today's climate.

The experience of Iran (albeit an 'undemocratic', anti-Zionistic, autocratic State not quite unlike America) demonstrates the burden of social, human and Material infrastructure advancement that a people who adhere to an Islamic faith can & must develop while ensuring the desired subsistence of the esoteric & the earthly. The Shiite People are the most advanced in terms of independent technologies and Human development in the Moslem World, even when under the hatchet of unabated economic & cultural embargoes. Minority communities such as Jews & Shiites perhaps have something to offer in terms of furthering our understanding of how human plight often translates to human contemplation. The Indian Constitution was also written by an Untouchable.

The right to Faith cannot by any means be any lesser in might than the right to Sexual Democracy if the rhetoric is to be rooted in prejudice and alienation of other cultures. The Moslem Veil if not tolerated in Industrial Open Democracies, justified on a higher European sense of Cultural Elitism, clothed as the Veil being the enemy of Reason & renaissance, they must not conceive of the manner in which other societies will define social etiquette, human ethos and social order. Where a Holocaust revisionist is vilified and ostracized from 'contemporary' societies, complemented opacification of other myriad urges of self-expression in eastern societies must be humored, where western subliminal ethos perchance fails passive acceptance.

Any rancor on the Right to individual excesses streamed off the world wide web from an Industrial Nation that manages to afford an apathetic society while holding the rest of the World Bank on ransom, cannot hold water here while individual responsibility and input to the parent society remain unanswered- same holds true to the right to an autocratic Religious Order or even ones definition of piety if it appears to exceed the expectations of the greater family that is society. Where personal inquiry fails comprehensive grasp of Religion or Scripture (pathologic of uneducation) it then assumes the qualities of Problem Category for Society, and is no less cause for eradication than Social apathy driven yearning for lawlessness. One cannot have the right to arabization or anglicization above and beyond the right of government and people to prosper as a spiritual society or as an enterprise of industry either.

However this is calculated though ego must give way to society more than vice versa. The ideals of individuality cannot overstep the ideals of society (the consensus of individual vs. the consensus of society).

We must start by strengthening the systems of Education, Human Development &Technology, before any talk of following and Xeroxing manuals on Democracy, Good Governance or any other imported modeler hullabaloo- because that is exactly what it would become if the former does not precede the latter.
